Embodied Kin: Listening to the Animal Within | Secret Dreams 2026

Embodied Kin: Listening to the Animal Within is a playful experiential workshop exploring instinct, movement, creativity, and the living intelligence of the body.

Through guided movement, sensory awareness, creative exploration, and open play, participants are invited to notice and follow different qualities as they emerge. Animal intelligence lives in how we orient, rest, protect, connect, move, and play. Rather than choosing an animal from the mind, the exploration begins by listening for sensation, rhythm, gesture, imagination, and impulse, allowing animal qualities and imagery to take shape in their own way.

There is nothing to perform and nothing to get right. You are welcome to move as much or as little as feels right for you. Basic art supplies will be available, and participants are welcome to bring a sketchbook, journal, drawing materials, or meaningful objects that support their exploration.
